ABOUT GABRIEL
Gabriel Chona Rueda is a young, emerging Colombian tenor, with twelve years of performance experience. Currently in his fourth year as an opera student at the University of British Columbia, he continues to expand his repertoire and captivate audiences.
He has actively participated in notable choirs such as The Calgary Boy's Choir, St. John Vianney Church Choir, and the Village High School Choir in Houston, Texas. Currently, Gabriel serves as the tenor section lead for the Unitarian Church of Vancouver, demonstrating his commitment to musical excellence and leadership.
